About The Position

Sorinex Exercise Equipment is hiring a Powder Coater / Coating Technician / Industrial Painter in Lexington, SC. This full-time, day shift manufacturing role involves powder coating, surface finishing, metal coating, and production finishing work on high-quality fitness equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience as a powder coater, industrial painter, paint line technician, finishing technician, or manufacturing production worker.

Requirements

• Experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or finishing required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishing standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, and other appropriate protective clothing
• Powder Coating: 2+ years

Nice To Haves

• Background as a powder coater, paint line worker, coating technician, or production worker preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating evenly and accurately to metal parts and components
• Perform surface preparation, masking, hanging, and staging parts for coating
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, spray guns, and coating booths
• Clean and maintain powder coating booths and finishing equipment daily
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on coating systems
• Inspect finished parts for quality control, consistency, and finish standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing workspace
• Follow production schedules and meet finishing output goals
• Support overall manufacturing and production operations
