This role involves painting and utilizing powder operations to prepare components, including sub-assemblies and related parts, for a variety of products. The position requires unloading parts, part racks, and hooks from the line, visually inspecting completed parts, and applying painting and/or powder processes according to product specifications. The Powder Coater is responsible for setting paint/powder equipment for proper tolerances, color, and feed rate, as well as for work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of their own work and work area. A commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement is expected, along with participation in preventative maintenance and safety programs. The role also involves striving for cost reduction and ensuring on-time, complete, and error-free shipments. Meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, is mandatory.
