About The Position
Peerless-AV® is a leading designer and manufacturer of award-winning audio solutions for over 75 years. Our AV solutions range from interactive kiosks, outdoor displays, video wall mounts and more. We are seeking a Powder Coat Technician to support our finishing operations by ensuring high-quality coating application and efficient paint line performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Hours are Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of powder coating or industrial painting experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Familiarity with coating quality standards and processes
Responsibilities
- Apply powder coating to parts in a high-mix, fast-paced production environment
- Prepare equipment and parts for color changes between batches
- Monitor coating quality including appearance, adhesion, and cure
- Perform basic chemical testing to maintain process standards
- Track and maintain inventory of coating materials
- Communicate effectively with team members and Paintline leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support departmental KPIs related to quality and efficiency
- Assist with other duties as needed
