About The Position

The Powder Coater is responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to raw, cleaned steel products using electrostatic spray equipment. This position performs pre-treatment processes, operates manual spray guns, verifies proper coating coverage before curing, and inspects finished products after the baking cycle to ensure all quality standards are met. Additional responsibilities include performing paint color changes efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds.
• Excellent hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to reach into tight or confined areas while painting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous powder coating experience preferred.
