Job Description: POSITION OVERVIEW The Powdercoat Technician is responsible for managing the inventory of powder coating materials, adhering to the ERP schedule, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, maintaining powder coating equipment, and ensuring the quality of process standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Prior experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing role is preferred
- Basic understanding of powder coating equipment and processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to heat and chemicals
- Strong focus on quality assurance to meet process standards
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety guidelines, and operational instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including 6S standards

Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory for powder coating materials
- Follow and adhere to the ERP schedule
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment (6S)
- Make sure to maintain the powder coating equipment properly
- Ensure the quality of process standards is maintained
- Develop and maintain a tracking system for powder coating materials to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Provide feedback on the ERP schedule to improve workflow efficiency and address potential bottlenecks
- Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times
- Regularly inspect and troubleshoot powder coating equipment to address maintenance needs proactively
- Maintain detailed records of coating processes and quality control checks for continuous improvement initiatives
