About The Position
Sportsman Boats is looking for a Powdercoat Technician with experience in powder coating, chemical treatment, and an eye for detail. This role involves working with brand new equipment in an air-conditioned facility.
Requirements
- 1-5 years powder coating experience.
- Experience with color changes between white to black and black to white.
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, climb ladder, stretch, and lift for 8-10 hours a day.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
- Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure to meet production rate.
Nice To Haves
- Mid level knowledge of the powder coat process.
Responsibilities
- Follow the paint flow process.
- Powder coat aluminum small parts, t-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, and frames.
- Determine viscosity.
- Clean and maintain powder coat equipment.
- Identify quality defects and participate in the continuous improvement process.
- Set and follow production schedule.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
