About The Position

Standard Iron is seeking an entry-level Powder Coat Painter for its Alexandria team. The role involves preparing, coating, inspecting, labeling, and packaging parts in a contract manufacturing environment. The company will train candidates who are eager to learn, though at least one year of powder coat painting experience is required. The available schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with a 15% shift differential. Starting pay is $22 per hour, with pay based on experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of powder coat painting experience.
• Strong time management skills and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Comfortable regularly lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts of various sizes with care and precision.
• Mask and plug parts to protect designated areas.
• Apply powder coatings to parts and ensure coverage and quality.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and prepare them for safe shipment.
• Label and identify parts to maintain organization.
