Powder Coat Finishing Operator - Swing Shift
About The Position
Milgard Windows & Doors is looking for a Powder Coat Finishing Operator to join our Swing Shift team in Fife, WA. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, quality finishes, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment. As a Powder Coat Finishing Operator, you will play a critical role in product quality by operating and supporting powder coating and finishing processes for aluminum/fiberglass components, preparing materials through cleaning, masking, hanging, coating, curing, and inspection, ensuring finished products meet quality, appearance, and durability standards, supporting production goals including On-Time Delivery, Quality, Safety, Scrap Reduction, and Efficiency, following standard work instructions and work orders accurately, adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe powder coat and work area.
Requirements
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic math skills, including fractions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Willingness to learn, follow processes, and work as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or industrial finishing
