Powder Coat Associate
About The Position
Apply powder coat paint to a variety of parts. Load and unload paint line, monitor operations, make adjustments, and record operational data. Perform basic maintenance of equipment as required. Perform cleaning and color changes as required with the ability to avoid contamination. Inspect completed workpieces for defects as required to maintain quality standards. Assist others in all paint operations. Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment. Inspect painted parts to engineering standards. Read work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances, proper labeling of parts, etc. Select and use a variety of lifting and rigging with overhead cranes to safely move materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate an ability to follow written instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as required to discuss training, general direction, and other operational related tasks
