Sinomax is currently hiring for a Pour Line Operator (Entry Level). This is an entry level position. Sinomax will train the right individual. There is substantial opportunity for growth with this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Strong communication skills are required with a good command of the English language and the ability to read, write, and comprehend information, reports, instructions, and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. This may include decision making, compiling information, and analyzing information along with the ability to problem solve involving some concrete variable in standardized and emergency situations.
  • The ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English is a necessity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various visual inspections, gauge monitoring, film changes and manual duties to ensure proper processing of foam production to meet production quality and quotas.
  • Responsible for machine and pour line area cleanup.
  • Must be willing to work on a team, also work independently.
  • Communicate with Pour Line Manager and Pour Line production workers in a cooperative and positive manner.
  • Must be comfortable working around chemicals and adhere to safety policies that are site specific and within industry standards.
  • Must have natural attention to detail and be physically fit to work in an area specific environment and pass annual respirator fit testing.
  • Will work to coordinate and implement all directives in a positive and professional manner for Pour Line Production.
  • Responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transferring chemicals from totes and drums to holding tanks for production.
  • Will monitor valves, gauges, and pumps.
  • Communicate professionally, effectively, and with courtesy with employees, managers, customers, vendors, and other departments.
  • Make sound decisions, anticipate and adapt to changing needs.
  • Meet company standards and follow company policies including safety.
  • Perform duties efficiently and in the best interest and long-term success of the company.
  • All materials, equipment procedures, and training associated with this position and department are deemed "Confidential and Proprietary Information. Misuse or removal from the premises without proper authorization from the Plant Manager may result in termination and liability exposure."
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
