About The Position

The Maintenance for Alleguard will perform technical work, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related electro-mechanical systems.

Requirements

Ability to work weekends if required.
Previous experience in a similar role.
5-10 years of experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good Analytical and attention to detail skills.
Excellent Communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Ability to plan jobs and see all potential problem areas.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to multi-task.
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
Ability to run conduit, pull wires and wires in electrical components.

Nice To Haves

Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills is an asset.

Responsibilities

Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment / production lines.
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups.
Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations.
Follows and ensures all H&S processes are followed daily.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Maintain high standards for housekeeping and cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects.
Trouble shoot and repair problems on machines and equipment.
Works closely with the Maintenance Manager to complete preventative and predictive maintenance.
Keeps updated records of work performed.
Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives.
