About The Position

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and attributes: High School diploma or equivalent. Applicant must have a valid Driver's License. Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves. Must be a good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others. Physical type work is a demand. Must be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads. Capable of working flexible hours. Delegate will have a background check performed as stated in the Aviagen Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
• Good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others
• Must be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads.
• Must be able to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by crew.
• Manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.
• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.
• Ensuring the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports.
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
• Health & Safety of employees is a major part of job duties.
