About The Position

This position provides general labor in vaccination, blood pull, live hauls, sorting and movement of all Cobb products serviced by the regional Grandparent operation. The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Requirements

Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
Must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.

Nice To Haves

Previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs live hauls, vaccination, blood pull, movement, sorting, and clean out of all Cobb products/facilities.
Loads Cobb products into modules and on to the truck for transport to designated farms, other Cobb complexes and/or processing plant.
Cleans and disinfects poultry houses, vehicles, modules, and equipment.
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: sell dates and maintains a clean and organized work area.
