About The Position
Seeking an experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week assignment working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The RN will provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns while supporting family-centered care, patient education, breastfeeding assistance, and recovery following delivery. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and experience caring for both adult and newborn populations.
Requirements
- 1+ year of Postpartum RN experience
- Experience assisting with breastfeeding and lactation support
- Experience caring for newborn and adult patient populations
- Epic experience
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- Active Minnesota RN License or Temporary Minnesota RN License
- Current skills checklist within 1 year
- Two supervisory references with dates employed listed
- Must include all RTO requests at time of submission
- If candidate is not eligible to work in the U.S., it must be noted on profile
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and every other weekend
