About The Position

The candidate will capitalize on their expertise in molecular biology and promoter design to drive an independent project focused on employing well-controlled promoters to improve viral vector design and manufacturing-ready platforms. A background in gene regulation and knowledge of promoter design will be highly valued. Candidates with experience with regulated gene expression, inducible promoters, synthetic promoters, and/or molecular switches will be preferred. The project will enable the candidate to publish findings and make a greater impact on a cutting-edge modality. We are seeking a motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to leverage their knowledge of promoter design and gene regulation to contribute to ongoing efforts to develop viral vector production platforms for gene therapy. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the cell line technology team and have opportunities to interface with members across multiple line functions.
