About The Position
Under the supervision of Alicia Kinoshita, this position is intended to provide mentored advanced training to enhance professional skills and research independence in the Post Doc's academic discipline.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree in an appropriate field
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Candidate must reside in California and live within a commutable distance from SDSU at time of hire.
- Job offer is contingent upon satisfactory clearance based on background check results (including a criminal record check).
Responsibilities
- Assisting in data collection, management, analysis and dissemination
- Conducting highly specialized and advanced experiments
- Designing research protocols
- Summarizing research findings
- Mentoring undergraduate/graduate students
- Preparing manuscripts
- Attending conferences and presenting at conferences.
