The lab of Dr. Heather Hines in the Department of Biology seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to lead studies evaluating the role of pollen nutrition in landscapes on bumble bee foraging, diversity, and health. The Postdoctoral Scholar will design and lead laboratory and field studies with these bees, including gathering field pollens across the community, conducting molecular tests on pollen nutritional characterization and metabarcoding, assessing floral community networks and niche utilization, and conducting behavioral assays in both lab and field settings. This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
