About The Position

Michigan State University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join Dr. Taosheng Liu's lab. This position focuses on investigating the neural mechanisms of visual attention and working memory. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for becoming familiar with relevant literature, designing and implementing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports for dissemination. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, Computational Science) by date of hire.
  • Proficiency in computer programming and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated productivity in previous work.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in cognitive neuroscience of relevant research domains.
  • Familiarity with fMRI, EEG, and TMS technology (one or multiple modalities).
  • Experience with computational modeling.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to problem solving.
