The Pruneda Lab is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to lead research projects utilizing molecular and structural biology, protein biochemistry, and cell culture assays. The lab's focus is on host-pathogen interactions at the molecular level, specifically investigating how pathogens evade immune detection and promote infection by interfering with host ubiquitin signaling networks. The ideal candidate will be adept at prioritizing diverse projects, collaborating effectively with the principal investigator and lab members, and independently solving problems. A PhD in a relevant area such as microbiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry is required, along with strong communication skills and a willingness to acquire new skills.
