The Thermoregulatory and Microvascular Physiology Lab at Penn State University is seeking two postdoctoral scholars to assist with human physiological research. These scholars will focus on human thermoregulatory and microvascular responses to environmental stressors, particularly heat stress and hydration. The research will be conducted within Penn State’s College of Health and Human Development in the Department of Kinesiology, under the direction of Dr. W. Larry Kenney. The projects are funded by NIH, NIOSH (tentative), and industry partners, and will investigate occupational exposures to heat stress, hydration strategies, and women’s health during midlife. The position offers mentorship in experimental design, analysis, scientific reporting, and grantsmanship.
