Postdoctoral Scholar, Translational PK/PD

Johnson & Johnson Innovative MedicineSpring House, PA
Onsite

About The Position

The Translational PK/PD & Investigative Toxicology (TPPIT) team has strong expertise in characterizing ADCs and payloads from both experimental and modeling aspects. The scholar will work as part of a dynamic, cross-site team within a highly collaborative TPPIT environment, partnering with cross-functional colleagues across ADC data generation, analysis, and translational PK/PD modeling. This is a two-year position with the possibility of a third-year extension.

Requirements

  • PhD with 0-1 years of experience.
  • Wet-lab experience in cell culture, including 2D and 3D culture systems, and cell-based assays such as cytotoxicity assays; familiarity with microscopy and imaging techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Prism and ImageJ, and MATLAB or familiarity with at least one PK/PD modeling platform such as Monolix or Phoenix.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cell and molecular biology assays, including the Incucyte live-cell analysis system; familiarity with PK/PD modeling.
  • ADC or drug conjugate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advancing translational PK/PD strategies for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) by integrating in vitro, preclinical, and clinical datasets to define exposure-response relationships.
  • Building predictive in vitro models using 2D/3D cell culture systems and cell-based assays to characterize ADC and payload activity.
  • Using experimental data, PK/PD modeling, and quantitative analysis to inform ADC candidate selection, support human dose projection, and reduce reliance on animal studies.
