About The Position
A postdoctoral scholar position is available in the Department of Pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to conduct basic and translational research in pediatric cancer. The research will focus on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive neuroblastoma metastasis and resistance to immunotherapy, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic strategies for high-risk and treatment-resistant disease.
Requirements
- M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Strong research background in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly productivity.
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
- Ability to design and conduct research both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

- Experience in tumor metastasis.

- Experience in autophagy and regulated cell death.
- Experience in cancer immunotherapy.
