About The Position

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research in computational fluid dynamics and turbulence. The position involves high-fidelity simulations of wall-bounded flows with pressure gradients, separation, relaminarization, and wake dynamics; development of advanced computational tools and analysis methods; and collaboration with a multidisciplinary, multi-university research team. Research activities support the development of physics-based and data-driven models for complex flow phenomena. The successful candidate will conduct fluid dynamics, turbulence, and CFD research; develop and perform simulations of boundary layers, separated flows, wakes, and airfoils; develop and validate computational methods; and use high-performance computing resources for large-scale simulations and data analysis. The role also includes analyzing simulation data, contributing to modeling and validation studies, preparing technical reports and publications, and assisting with student mentoring. The position is based on the main campus in College Station, Texas. Texas A&M Engineering describes its research community as collaborative and offers competitive compensation, benefits, professional development, and work-life balance support.
