About The Position
This position involves performing research on polymer upcycling to liquid, gas, and solid products. The role includes conducting experiments, analyzing results, synthesizing and characterizing catalysts, and supervising undergraduate student workers. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field
- Valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment.
Nice To Haves
- 4+ years of experience as a Graduate Assistant in a research laboratory in obtaining the PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
Responsibilities
- Conducting experiments and analyzing results on waste polymer upcycling to liquid, gas and solid products.
- Synthesis and characterization of catalysts to use in polymer upcycling experiments.
- Supervision of undergraduate student workers who will assist in the experimentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
