Requirements

• PhD qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Strong background in the mechanics of composite materials and experimental testing methodologies.
• Strong ability to analyze analytical data sets.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work collaboratively with team members and external collaborators.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with material characterization tools and prototype fabrication is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical testing of composite materials and support prototype fabrication through advanced laboratory experiments.
• Involve a combination of novel experimental approaches, including collecting, processing, and analyzing complex experimental data sets to evaluate material performance.
• Prepare technical reports and research documentation.
• Produce peer-reviewed journal publications.
• Collaborate with the research team to support project objectives.
