About The Position

The Cardiovascular Research Laboratory at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team studying the role of vascular function in skeletal health and disease. Our research combines human physiology, biomedical engineering and clinical investigation to advance understanding of bone blood flow regulation and its contribution to skeletal fragility in type 1 diabetes, aging, fracture healing, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This work is currently supported by the American Heart Association and the Discovery Center for Musculoskeletal Recovery at the Schoen Adams Research Institute.

Requirements

  • PhD, MD, or equivalent degree in physiology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience in human physiology, biomedical instrumentation, optical imaging, signal processing, or related areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong publication record and commitment to scientific excellence.
