Investigate vulnerability to climate change of key agricultural commodities in the Southern Plains Climate Region (Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas) including such commodities as beef, hay, wheat, sorghum, and/or cotton. System dynamics modeling of agronomic, social, economic, and ecological dynamics to study the impacts of natural and social stressors on Southern Plains agroecosystems. Conduct assessments of vulnerabilities that will inform the short- and long-term priorities of Southern Plains agricultural managers and supply chain stakeholders. This position is primarily campus based, though remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Position is grant funded position expected to end May 31, 2027.
