About The Position
The Postdoctoral Research Associate position, under the supervision of Easton White, is a research role focused on quantitative ecology. The associate will be responsible for identifying research problems, collecting, analyzing, and tabulating data, recommending solutions, and publishing final results. This position is supported by external sponsor funding, making continued employment contingent upon the availability of these funds.
Requirements
- PhD in quantitative ecology, marine science, or related field
- Quantitative ecology, marine science, or related field knowledge, skills & abilities
Responsibilities
- Gather research data on campus, at on-site locations, or in the laboratory.
- Assemble, organize, record, analyze and tabulate research data, relating to other work done in the field, as appropriate.
- Write code to conduct data wrangling and analyses.
- Prepare recommendations for solutions of problems or other research findings in written form, either as formalized reports to supervisor or through publishing of results.
- Collaborate with other team members on various lab projects.
