About The Position

This position is for a Postdoctoral Research Associate within Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Department of Ecology & Conservation Biology. The role involves developing ecohydrological modeling for plant water stress and irrigation optimization, studying drought impacts on land-atmosphere interaction, and contributing to scientific publications and presentations. The associate will also collaborate on grant proposals and potentially supervise graduate students. This is a grant-funded position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ecohydrological modeling for plant water stress and irrigation optimization.
  • Study drought impacts on land-atmosphere interaction.
  • Prepare and publish articles in national/international peer-reviewed scientific journals that highlight findings from the research projects.
  • Present research findings at national/international events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with various, relevant faculty at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research in developing grant proposals for increased future funding, preparing peer-review journal articles, and supervising graduate students, if any.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
