About The Position

Texas A&M’s Department of Statistics is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop advanced computational methods and collaborate with life science researchers in the analysis and interpretation of single-cell multi-omic data. This role will contribute to cutting-edge research by integrating statistical and computational approaches to address complex biological questions.

Requirements

  • Appropriate PhD in a related field.
  • Working experience with Bayesian analysis and MCMC.
  • Bayesian Modeling.
  • MCMC computation.
  • Bioinformatics.
  • Clustering.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in the area of statistical modeling for single-cell multi-omic data.
  • Perform clustering, differential expression analysis, predictive modeling, and trajectory interference to trace cellular processes.
  • May assist, or mentor graduate students who are working on research related to the project.
