About The Position

The Gyori Lab for Computational Biomedicine at Northeastern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to its research portfolio. The lab focuses on building systems that accelerate scientific discovery by integrating artificial intelligence with human expertise, developing knowledge-grounded AI, text mining, knowledge assembly, mathematical and systems modeling, and causal analysis. Research outcomes are often deployed as open-source software and services, supported by grants in biomedical knowledge integration, global health, and AI-assisted systems modeling. This position involves developing new computational methods in knowledge-grounded AI, systems modeling, natural language processing, and data harmonization, with applications in biomedicine and related fields. The role requires close collaboration with students, software developers, and academic partners. This is a Boston-based position with an initial two-year appointment, renewable based on funding and performance.
