About The Position

The successful candidate will join a dynamic research program focused on understanding the pathogenesis of influenza and other RNA viruses and developing innovative strategies to prevent viral diseases. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, the postdoctoral researcher will investigate viral-host interactions using a variety of molecular biology approaches and both ex vivo and in vivo model systems. The individual will also contribute to the evaluation of novel vaccine platforms by assessing their safety, immunogenicity, and protective efficacy against viral pathogens. In addition to conducting independent and team-based research, the candidate will actively engage with internal and external collaborators, contribute to scientific publications and presentations, and support the advancement of high-impact infectious disease research.
