About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the group of Dr. Fabio Demontis. The lab is located in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, USA. We use mice and Drosophila to decipher the conserved mechanisms of muscle aging and proteostasis, and how muscle-derived signals (myokines) affect proteostasis and the progression of age-related diseases in the central nervous system. The fellow will benefit from both the outstanding research facilities and the highly collaborative St. Jude community. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a world-class research institution. Our 300 faculty work across the spectrum of basic, translational, clinical, and population science in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment that includes a Nobel laureate and members of the National Academy of Science and the National Academy of Medicine.
