About The Position

In this research project, the postdoctoral fellow will investigate the use of selective modified mRNA to treat different diseases, such as diabetic foot, skin ageing and cardiac regeneration. Using murine and pig models, they will perform detailed activity and identify therapeutic genes that could promote regeneration and rejuvenations. Our studies are designed to advance toward human clinical trials and evaluate therapeutic value.

Requirements

  • PhD, MD, or MD/PhD
  • Skilled in regenerative medicine techniques
  • At least one of the following areas of expertise: Cardiac repair, RNA biology, synthetic biology, heart failure, cardiology, immunology or molecular biology.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting in vitro screening experiments
  • Preparing modified mRNA
  • Formulating and characterizing lipid nanoparticles (LNPs)
  • Analyzing high-throughput datasets
  • Designing, planning, and analyzing in vivo studies in small and large animal models
  • Summarizing research findings
  • Preparing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals
