About The Position
This postdoctoral fellow position in the Department of Oncological Sciences focuses on studying myeloid malignancies using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The role involves performing a variety of experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications and grant applications. The research is supervised by Dr. Eirini Papapetrou.
Requirements
- PhD or MD, PhD
- Experience in molecular biology
- Experience in cell culture
- Experience in mouse transplantation
- Experience in data analysis
- Experience in presentation and manuscript and grant writing
Responsibilities
- Perform experiments including the generation, culture, hematopoietic differentiation and genetic modification of human pluripotent stem cells.
- Conduct molecular analyses.
- Perform xenograft experiments in mice.
- Analyze and present data in lab meetings, institutional work-in-progress seminars and national and international conferences.
- Assist with preparation of manuscripts and grant applications.
