About The Position

This postdoctoral fellow position in the Department of Oncological Sciences focuses on studying myeloid malignancies using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The role involves performing a variety of experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications and grant applications. The research is supervised by Dr. Eirini Papapetrou.

Requirements

  • PhD or MD, PhD
  • Experience in molecular biology
  • Experience in cell culture
  • Experience in mouse transplantation
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience in presentation and manuscript and grant writing

Responsibilities

  • Perform experiments including the generation, culture, hematopoietic differentiation and genetic modification of human pluripotent stem cells.
  • Conduct molecular analyses.
  • Perform xenograft experiments in mice.
  • Analyze and present data in lab meetings, institutional work-in-progress seminars and national and international conferences.
  • Assist with preparation of manuscripts and grant applications.
