About The Position

The Postdoctoral Fellow will join a growing group in the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry focused on combining neuroimaging with brain stimulation. Projects range from basic and cognitive neuroscience to clinical trials using MRI to guide personalized brain stimulation interventions. The group’s tools include fMRI-guided transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), concurrent TMS/fMRI, and treatments for depression and PTSD. No prior brain stimulation experience is necessary; the role offers the opportunity to develop experience in clinically relevant applications of brain stimulation. The position is expected to work onsite in Aurora, Colorado. Some initial training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania may be necessary. The department has strong clinical and interventional psychiatry connections, institutional support for its neuromodulation mission, and plans to expand the tools used to other neuropsychiatric indications. The University provides a comprehensive benefits package. Applications are accepted electronically, and screening continues until the position is filled; the best consideration date is January 15, 2027.
