About The Position

This is an AI-driven bioengineering project requiring both wetlab and computational skillset. The successful candidate will have proficiency with basic molecular biology techniques including DNA cloning and subcloning, bacterial work, mammalian cell culture (293T, HeLa, etc), protein work (Western blot), immunohistochemistry and various forms of microscopic techniques (high content imaging, confocal, etc). It is critical the candidate has computational proficiency and be comfortable working with computer algorithms, including ImageJ macros for image processing, Python programming as well as machine learning using tools such as Large Language Models. Experiences and evidence of work showing rigors in model training is critical.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program.
  • Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area.
  • Proficiency with basic molecular biology techniques including DNA cloning and subcloning.
  • Experience with bacterial work.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture (293T, HeLa, etc).
  • Experience with protein work (Western blot).
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry.
  • Experience with various forms of microscopic techniques (high content imaging, confocal, etc).
  • Computational proficiency.
  • Comfort working with computer algorithms.
  • Experience with ImageJ macros for image processing.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience with machine learning using tools such as Large Language Models.
  • Experiences and evidence of work showing rigors in model training.

  • Previous experience conducting research in the pediatric arena.
  • Experience in protocol and manuscript development.

Responsibilities
