We seek a Postdoctoral Research Fellow who will be working on a novel clinical trial at the Charles Lazarus Children’s Abilities Center at Mount Sinai in New York. The candidate may work in a hybrid fashion if needed, with elements of in-person and remote possible for this position, but an ability to attend in-person is required. We will be investigating the impact of implanted neurostimulation technologies paired with intensive neurorehabilitation on restoration of lower and upper extremity function in children (13-21 years old) with cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury. A large amount of longitudinal clinical data is being collected on participants in REDCap and detailed kinematic and kinetic data will be collected using a Vicon markered motion capture system. Familiarity with marker-based motion capture systems is a positive.
