About The Position

The Postdoctoral Fellow is a role for individuals who have recently completed doctoral training in a mental health-related field, with an emphasis on assessments and evaluations. The position provides supervised clinical experience, opportunities to expand professional skills, and the chance to contribute to clinical services focused on assessment. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Alpharetta, Georgia, with schedule flexibility between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. The position is expected to start in August or September 2027. Compensation is $65,000–$75,000 annually, paid bi-weekly. The role is a W-2, non-exempt employee position.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) or LLP in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of all doctoral program requirements and eligibility for postdoctoral training in Georgia.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to professional development and supervision under licensed psychologists.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and/or adults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnostic interviews and psychological testing.
• Assist in developing treatment plans and recommendations based on assessment findings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment notes, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Complete required documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Stay current with research literature and best practices.
• Participate in clinical supervision with licensed psychologists to develop clinical skills and receive feedback.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
