About The Position
The Jiang Lab invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position. The postdoctoral researcher will lead independent research projects focused on developing next-generation neurotechnology and biomedical imaging methods, with particular emphasis on optical, ultrasound, and photoacoustic technologies. Working under the supervision of Dr. Ying Jiang, the candidate will contribute to the development of innovative approaches for neural circuit interrogation while collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career scientists looking to develop a strong publication record and build an independent research trajectory within a highly collaborative and well-resourced environment.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Neuroscience, or related discipline)
- Strong background in optical, ultrasound, and/or photoacoustic imaging technologies
- Experience with experimental design and execution
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and computational modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities
- Designing and conducting experiments
