About The Position

Van Andel Institute (VAI) is seeking postdoctoral fellows for its Cancer Epigenetics Training (CET) program, supported by an NCI T32 training grant. This program offers advanced interdisciplinary research training in cancer epigenetics, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and professional development opportunities. The goal is to prepare fellows to become independent research leaders in the field, equipped with comprehensive knowledge and a strong professional foundation for biomedical research careers. The program is currently awaiting renewal of its T32 grant, with potential openings around July 1st for applications received by June 15th. Appointment is contingent upon receiving the notice of award.

Requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Must be near completion of a Ph.D., M.D. or other appropriate terminal degree.
NIH-style biosketch.
Research statement following the format of an NIH-style specific aims page.
Three reference letters (one from thesis advisor or committee member).
