The Zaleski Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to design and synthesize hybrid molecular and nanomaterial catalysts. The successful applicant will bring experience in bacterial cell growth, management, and analysis, along with expertise in membrane biochemistry, particularly extracellular vesicles. Working knowledge of nanomaterial preparation and interactions with cells is a strong advantage. Applicants with a Ph.D. in a relevant biomaterials area are encouraged to apply; experience with vesicle preparation, analysis, and cell interactions, as well as advanced microscopy, is highly desired. The Zaleski Lab offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment. The fellow will contribute to the growing team and develop skills relevant to both academia and industry. Trainees receive regular guidance and feedback toward their career goals, scheduling flexibility to support work-life balance, and a safe laboratory environment.
