A full-time postdoctoral position is available to study immuno-engineering and develop novel, biomaterial-based immunotherapeutics in the laboratory of Dr. Jamal Lewis. This position is for an initial one-year appointment and has the potential to be renewed for an additional year based on performance and funding availability. We seek an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to advance a novel platform of immune‑modulatory biomaterial particles designed to attenuate aberrant immune responses in rheumatoid arthritis. The candidate will work beside materials scientists, chemists, and immunologists on particle synthesis, in‑vitro and in‑vivo validation, and translational pathway design. For this highly collaborative position, the successful applicant will be expected to work closely with other faculty in the Biomedical Engineering department, and researchers at UF College of Medicine and the UF College of Pharmacy.
