About The Position

Dr. Michael Alosco, Professor of Neurology, seeks a Postdoctoral Associate for research in aging and dementia. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct high impact studies on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias at an NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC). You will receive multidisciplinary training with joint research and clinical supervision.

Requirements

• PhD required in neuroscience or related field.
• Strong research background
• Desire to work in academia

Responsibilities

• Clinical-pathological correlation studies
• Longitudinal clinical outcome studies
• Imaging and fluid biomarker studies
• Image analysis (if desired, experience required)
• Risk factor studies
• Participant clinical interviews
• Multidisciplinary diagnostic consensus conferences
• Supervised clinical neuropsychological assessment at Boston Medical Center under the supervision of licensed and/or board-certified clinical neuropsychologists (up to 25% time)
