Post Surgical Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
About The Position
This full-time Registered Nurse position provides acute care to post-surgical and general medical patients on a 23-bed unit. Care focuses on pain management, holistic care, and involvement of patients and their families. The role is scheduled for 0.9 FTE, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with every third weekend required. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs; and facilitates communication with physicians, families, and other team members. No previous experience is required. A current Iowa RN license is required, and a BSN is preferred.
