About The Position

The Post Sales Project Manager II serves as the primary liaison between customers, dealers, and Rosenbauer throughout the fire apparatus production process. This role is responsible for managing customer communications, coordinating specification changes, supporting production activities, and ensuring customer requirements are accurately communicated and executed throughout the build process. The Post Sales Project Manager II works closely with production, engineering, sales, service, and dealer partners to support successful project execution from pre-production through delivery. This position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, resolving issues, managing project documentation, and ensuring fire apparatus are built in accordance with customer specifications, company standards, and production requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience required.
• 2+ years of Rosenbauer experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of firefighting processes and equipment preferred.
• Able to find, read, and interpret relevant business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Able to write reports and business correspondence in a professional manner.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions and communicate new information that could affect project trajectories.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Able to perform intermediate PC functions including the use of spreadsheet tables and formulas.
• Able to deal with problems involving a variety of variables in non-standard situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to read and understand specs.
• Able to apply strategy and mediate between customers/dealerships and Rosenbauer to ensure peak satisfaction from both parties.
• Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and dealers throughout the production lifecycle. Respond to inquiries, provide guidance, facilitate communication, and ensure expectations are clearly understood and managed throughout the project.
• Coordinate customer requirements, production activities, and departmental communication to support the successful completion of fire apparatus projects. Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may impact quality, delivery, or customer satisfaction.
• Develop, review, and process change orders resulting from customer-requested modifications, midpoint reviews, and final corrections. Ensure all changes are accurately documented, communicated, and implemented throughout the organization.
• Review project specifications and collaborate with production teams to ensure customer requirements, clarifications, and design changes are clearly understood and incorporated into the build process. Assist in preparing production-ready specification packages and supporting documentation.
• Participate in customer meetings, pre-production reviews, and project discussions to ensure alignment between customer expectations and production requirements. Provide technical and project-related support throughout the apparatus construction process.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve production concerns, specification discrepancies, and project-related issues. Support the development and implementation of effective solutions to maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain project records, specifications, change orders, reports, and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve Quote Writer functionality, project processes, and communication workflows, and communicate recommendations to management.
• Provide customers and dealers with regular updates regarding production status, project milestones, change order activity, and construction progress. Participate in internal meetings, customer reviews, dealer communications, and other project-related discussions as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support departmental objectives and organizational needs. Maintain flexibility and adaptability to address changing customer requirements, production demands, and business priorities.
