About The Position

The Post Sales Project Manager I serves as the primary liaison between customers, dealers, and Rosenbauer throughout the fire apparatus production process. This role is responsible for managing customer communication, coordinating specification changes, supporting production activities, and ensuring customers remain informed from pre-construction through final delivery. The Post Sales Project Manager I collaborates closely with production, engineering, sales, and dealer partners to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and executed. This position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, managing project documentation, and helping ensure fire apparatus are delivered according to customer specifications and expectations.

Requirements

• One or more years of customer service, project coordination, sales support, or related experience required.
• Read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, technical specifications, project documentation, customer requirements, and industry-related materials.
• Prepare reports, project documentation, change orders, and business correspondence in a clear and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, leadership, and cross-functional teams regarding project status, requirements, and issue resolution.
• Present information and respond to questions from customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Follow written and verbal directions and communicate information that could impact project timelines, specifications, or customer expectations.
• Perform calculations involving percentages, proportions, pricing, and other business-related data.
• Review and verify project-related information for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation.
• Learn and utilize company software systems, databases, and project tracking tools to support customer and project management activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
• Apply sound judgment and professionalism when addressing customer concerns, project changes, and competing priorities.
• Mediate between customers, dealerships, and internal departments to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analyze problems involving multiple variables and identify practical solutions in a timely manner.
• Adapt to changing customer requirements, project schedules, and business priorities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of firefighting processes, apparatus construction, and fire service operations preferred.
• Experience working directly with customers, dealers, or external stakeholders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and dealers throughout the production process.
• Respond to questions, provide updates, and facilitate communication between customers, dealers, and internal departments to ensure expectations are understood and met.
• Support the successful execution of fire apparatus projects by coordinating customer requirements, production activities, and departmental communication.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure specifications are accurately communicated throughout the organization.
• Prepare and process change orders resulting from customer-requested modifications, midpoint reviews, and final corrections.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure change requests are properly documented, communicated, and implemented.
• Review customer specifications and work closely with production teams to ensure requirements, clarifications, and design changes are clearly understood and properly executed throughout the build process.
• Participate in customer meetings, including pre-construction reviews, to support the development and execution of customer requirements.
• Assist customers in understanding production processes, specifications, and available options.
• Create, maintain, and distribute project-related documentation, including specification files, production reports, change orders, and customer communications.
• Support the preparation and review of production release documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify, document, and resolve specification questions, production concerns, and project-related issues.
• Escalate concerns as appropriate and support implementation of effective solutions.
• Provide customers and dealers with regular project updates, including construction progress photos, production status information, change order updates, and key project milestones.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support departmental objectives and organizational needs.
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability to address changing customer requirements and business priorities.
