About The Position

America's Auto Auction - Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic (Diagnostic Driver) to join their PSI/Arbitration team. The primary role is to drive vehicles to identify and diagnose potential issues before they enter the auction process. This role does not involve major repairs, but requires expertise behind the wheel and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and keen diagnostic ability
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Dependable, observant, and safety-focused
• High School Diploma
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to operate all types of vehicles
• Must have own tools

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical coursework completion, highly preferred
• Should be highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to detect mechanical or performance problems
• Report any findings accurately and promptly to the PSI/Arbitration team
• Help ensure vehicle quality and consistency standards are met
• Work on a team and independently
• Keep safety as a top priority
• Other duties as assigned
