About The Position

The Post-Production Producer, under the supervision of the Executive Producer in Los Angeles, will produce all advertising projects for the Los Angeles ADS team. This role requires presence in the studio for client sessions and collaboration with the Executive Producer and other team members on quoting potential VFX opportunities. The producer will be responsible for the proper management of the budget and post-production schedules for each project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position, in post-production in the advertising sector.
  • Relevant experience in visual effects and knowledge of the VFX process required.
  • Demonstrated positive leadership and strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Good ability to manage stress under pressure and maintain a positive and composed attitude.
  • Excellent sense of priorities and respect for deadlines and budgets.
  • Must be available for occasional travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Shotgrid project management software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of GSuite and Monday is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the bidding process for all advertising opportunities in collaboration with the global ADS team.
  • Produce advertising projects for Los Angeles, establish timelines, and manage the VFX/post-production schedule.
  • Handle crew planning tasks, including sketching bookings for potential projects, adding bookings for confirmed projects, and participating in weekly resource meetings for ADS.
  • Help set up workflow and processes for grading and online sessions.
  • Assign key talent to projects and organize kick-off meetings with HOD and the crew planning team in collaboration with various departments.
  • Ensure projects run smoothly by verifying tasks are created and assigned, and that artists' estimates and timelogs are properly entered, working closely with a coordinator when needed.
  • Communicate regularly with clients on project status and foster a positive, collaborative working relationship.
  • Oversee project progress and efficiency, ensure full tracking of the schedule and budget, and maintain Shotgrid updates.
  • Anticipate time and budget issues and client-requested changes, adjusting quotes and schedules accordingly.
  • Maintain regular communication with the production team on all important project information.
  • Collaborate on post-mortem meetings, identify areas for improvement, and ensure all issues are addressed.
  • Support business development initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Producer.
  • Actively monitor the work climate within the team and take steps to encourage a positive work environment and adherence to company values.
  • Produce Film & Episodic VFX projects when needed.
  • Perform all other tasks related to the position.
