About The Position

As a Finisher at BASF ECMS, you will follow all work instructions on each job task after receiving proper training. You will promote a clean, safe, and productive work environment, properly identify, segregate, and store all rework material. Your responsibilities include screening, packing, and labeling completed parts according to customer specifications and requirements, and understanding customer specifications by using the specifications database. You will contribute to maintaining scrap levels at or below established goals, complete all documentation associated with job assignments, and participate in process continuous improvement efforts. You will notify the Team Leader of excess scrap and perform all duties in compliance with safety standards and specifications. Additionally, you will operate all equipment in a manner that complies with all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions to the Team Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 year of manufacturing experience required
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions preferred
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations while performing tasks which may require multiple steps preferred

• Ability to trouble shoot the assigned process preferred
